I might enjoy your captions if you didn't put the character's age next to their name all the time. It's really unnecessary and serves no real purpose except taking you out of the story. Your captions would be a lot better if you simply stopped doing that.
How exactly does adding an age number next to a name, add to the story? It's used quite uselessly in these caps. If you removed them, nothing changes about the story.
Look at the picture again and completely ignore the age number and tell me what exactly the numbers add to the story that you don't get from reading the cap. Other than telling you Tim is younger than his mother;literally no shit.
