Great Shift: Most of the world's population permanently shifts into random bodies.
Exchange Island: A special vacation spot in which you spend the week in another visitor's body.
Swap Class: A controversial high school class many parents force their children to take; spend some time (usually 2 weeks) in a classmate's body of the opposite gender, and become a more "open-minded" person.
Long Distance Body Swapping: To save time, some companies have potential employees from far away swap bodies with one of their own (sometimes female) employees for an interview. Swap facilities book up quickly, so an overnight stay is often required.
The Fantasy Orgasm Swapping Event (FOSE): Thousands of people having an orgasm to a fantasy suddenly swap bodies with that person due to a strange cosmic radiation that passes through the Earth (MY IDEA! Feel free to use, of course).

ReplyDeleteExciting series, but the underlying assumption of misogyny makes this somewhat harder to enjoy. I don't want to wet blanket for long as we are all here for the same reason, and that's not to read deeply into social issues, so here goes...
ReplyDeleteIn the first caption you state the reason the men need to swap bodies is that they blew their cover. In the fourth captain you say a young female agent volunteered to be part of the swap.
So, an older man who has already shown he is bad at his job by blowing his cover is STILL more qualified to use the body of the female agent than she is? If sex is such a powerful weapon for spies, is there any reason a female couldn't be trained to use it?
You seem like a really sharp person, and I don't think you really believe this, but clearly the idea is present subconsciously. Coming up with as many unique and varied storylines as you do can't always be easy. The whole idea of body swap innately involves taking ownership of something deeply important to another person, so maybe the whole idea of m2f tg fiction is inseparable from some level of misogyny.
PS you are the best captioner working, please keep it up, just some food for thought.
