I received an email from blogger. Apparently they will no longer allow blogs that contain sexually explicit content in the coming weeks, which is a huge bummer.
Fellow bloggers / techies... where should I move?
Hello There!
Great Shift: Most of the world's population permanently shifts into random bodies.
Exchange Island: A special vacation spot in which you spend the week in another visitor's body.
Swap Class: A controversial high school class many parents force their children to take; spend some time (usually 2 weeks) in a classmate's body of the opposite gender, and become a more "open-minded" person.
Long Distance Body Swapping: To save time, some companies have potential employees from far away swap bodies with one of their own (sometimes female) employees for an interview. Swap facilities book up quickly, so an overnight stay is often required.
The Fantasy Orgasm Swapping Event (FOSE): Thousands of people having an orgasm to a fantasy suddenly swap bodies with that person due to a strange cosmic radiation that passes through the Earth (MY IDEA! Feel free to use, of course).

Maybe Tumblr or soup?
ReplyDeleteI heard Wordpress is supposed to work pretty well :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to Tumblr. Join me, it will be fun.
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.........
ReplyDeletebut i say Tumblr
Wordpress had Brabound on it, the Original Bra bound.
ReplyDeleteThen they were removed.
Tumblr seems to be the best option. Blogspot is already struggling. They should embrace all their active users.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's time to initiate operation: tublr storm.
ReplyDelete*tumblr
DeletePretty sure I'll be bringing The Great Shift or Shaft to Tumblr. Of course, I have like... nothing but adult content there. Honestly, it seems like the easiest medium to bring the caps to. That and there's already a community there.
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem.....
ReplyDeleteWorldpress is a good site, you can make tags on cap like a blog
ReplyDeleteSpread the word to all the TG bloggers out there posting, but I think you guys need to read the fine print. Any NEW blogs created after March 23rd will be shut down. However, existing blogs will be grandfathered by being set to private which means, the bloggers have to give direct access to users. So, the other option is to basically directly allow access to all your followers. Not sure how this works, if they have to request it, or if you have to send out invites. But it's something to look into
ReplyDeleteHi :)
ReplyDeleteI would recommend using Open TG Captions
I've created this website for the whole community, we'd be glad to welcome you. :D
Please email me if you have any questions regarding the website.
Thanks people, looks like I'm hopping on the Tumblr bandwagon!
ReplyDeleteIf anyone has any suggestions for Tumblr themes that resemble Blogger features, please let me know. I would like to try my best to keep the "popular posts," "blog list," and especially the "labels" section or something similar.
Tumblr seens to be fighting sexually explicit content too.
DeleteI would recommend Wordpress.com (free), that has everything blogger has and more.
Tumblr only requires you to set your blog to "NSFW": https://www.tumblr.com/docs/en/nsfw so right now it is the best bet.
DeleteI would recommend WordPress the new few template is responsive and easy start. Also this link will help you move all of your post from blogger to WordPress so you don't loose your work http://www.labnol.org/internet/switch-from-blogger-to-wordpress/9707/
ReplyDeleteYou could do what TheSwappingGrounds is doing and go to Word Press
ReplyDeleteUse Open Tg Caps.
ReplyDeleteI've used WordPress before and found posting to be extremely slow compared to Blogger or Tumblr. I'd much rather be making captions than dealing with that.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm pretty sold on Tumblr. I'll do my best to replicate as many blogger features as possible. I'm also a big fan of the re-sharing thing - I would like to promote other cappers I enjoy with my rather substantial audience every once in a while.

ReplyDeleteHave you considered a Deviant Art account?
ReplyDeleteWell, I started playing around with tumblr. It's easy enough I guess.

I figured out how to replicate a lot of the blogger features I like.
- Here's how I added a "tag cloud" to the bottom of the page: http://post-theory.com/tumblr-tag-cloud-javascript
- Here's how I added the ability to comment: https://disqus.com/
- Here's how I added a hit counter: http://statcounter.com/tumblr/
Still looking for "blog list" and "popular posts" alternatives. I'm sure they're out there.
